Chris Crawford, Founder & Managing Partner
As a leader for the world's largest employee benefits consulting firm, Chris witnessed time and time again that a project's
success hinged on the expertise, experience and skill of the individual consultant leading the work - not the name of the
company on the business card. This belief led Chris to build CMC Advisory Group where the most talented professionals are freed
from big company bureaucracy and empowered to always act in the best interests of our clients.
Chris honed his benefits consulting expertise through his client work with some of the nation’s leading organizations.
His early career experience as a CPA provides his clients with a unique perspective on the overall business impact
of employee benefits decisions. He is most proud of the trusted relationships, and friendships, he has developed
with his clients over the years.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he majored in accounting and passed the CPA exam.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen and, prior to founding CMC, he was with Mercer where he held numerous leadership roles.
